Socials 'R' Us
Group Socials - Why we have them!
The reason we arrange socials is simple. We have such a good time, and get on so well as a group on our walks, that it's only natural to keep this friendship going by socialising now and again too!
So once a month we arrange something that everyone is welcome to come to, and find that not only do we have some really keen walkers in our group, but we also have some exceptional socialisers too!
Whatever we arrange though, we always try and offer something that is good value for money, and easy to get to. Amongst what we have arranged so far have been a simple pub meet, an all-you-can-eat-meal, a games night, a bowling night, a quiz night, a comedy club visit to name but a few.
And just like the walks we do, every social we have done so far has been suggested by a member. So if there's anything that you can think of that is cheap and cheerful, and suitable for 20+ people - please let us know, and we'll try and include it.
