Sunday 27th July - Hathersage
A steady 9 mile walk along the river to the stepping stones, into Shatton, up to Abney Moor, Stoke Ford, Eyam Moor and back into Hathersage. Fantastic views of the Hope Valley from 'up top' on this walk which should take around 5 and a half hours to complete.

Details:-
Meet outside the public toilets on Main Road in Hathersage at 10.0 for 10.15 start.

Thanks but I think it's the sort of weather for dawdling if necessary and I would be worried about the tight deadline. Have fun, see you soon (once you're married !)

Big thanks to Anne and Rob for a lovely walk today,

I always enjoy a walk round the areas near my old homestead, but the views around the valley today were fabulous, the fine perfect walking weather certainly helped. People's reaction to the pigs was great, especially Colin feeding them banana's.

It was lovely to see some faces today that I haven't seen for a while, Angie, Linda, Mick and it was great to meet Sue. Thanks to Debbie and Alison for their company in the car on the way home.

Well done to Chris on winning todays draw. Lovely to end the day with a well earned drink in the Little John pub.

Best wishes to Anne and Rob, for their upcoming big day.

Hope you were all surprised that we actually stuck to the posted walk and didn't do any lengthy detours. What a lovely day for walking, not too hot as previous days have been, wonderful views from top of Abney and Eyam moors. Great company and thanks everyone for your good wishes for our coming wedding, finishing the day off nicely with a well earned drink for us all at the little John.

Thanks for a great walk today Anne and Robert. Yes and thanks for not adding any on in this heat, ha ha! Beautiful views, the welcome breeze at the top of the hills and lots of drink stops because of the heat are the things that stick in my mind, along with the piggies & Brian the dog! I really feel like it has done me good today and I felt very relaxed when I got home. Ps have I mentioned it was HOT?!

Thanks for the lift Neil and courier services! sunny sunny dance

Can't wait to see a picture of your nuptials! Have a fantastic day and many congratulations.
