Youlgreave - Sunday 31st August

Post  Admin on Thu Jun 12, 2014 7:32 am

Sunday 31st August - Youlgreave
A new walk in a familiar area with lots of interesting features. There's Grattan Dale and Long Dale, the rocks at Hermit's Cave and Robin Hood's Stride, a stone circle on Harthill Moor, and towards the end, a small stretch of the River Bradford as it goes through Bradford Dale. 8.75 miles in total, with just a couple of tough ascents and descents.

Details:-
Meet at Coldwell End car park, Youlgreave. The car park is on Main Street, about a quarter of a mile from The Farmyard Inn, Main St, Youlgreave, Bakewell, DE45 1UW at 10.0 for 10.15 start.

A lovely walk once again. Its so pretty walking through the various dales.

The fantastic house that we saw for sale in Youlegreave has no price on it, I checked on Right move. So does that mean its free Very Happy

Both pub stops were well needed, not sure what the ramblers would think of all the stops we make !
