I just want to let everyone know that Chris did the 3 peaks challenge at the weekend, he completed it in just over 12 hours.

Well done you  cheers

I'm sure he will tell us all about it once he has recovered and is out of the ice bath  Very Happy

Thanks all. It was always going to be difficult but snow made it even more so, treacherous under foot on the
really steep parts. This delayed us considerably and we walked the last hour in total darkness, luckily I'd bought
a head torch in the week for such an eventuality. No blisters but aching everywhere, should be ok for sunday for
a little stroll in the Peak District with you all.

We will be expecting you to show us your "3 Peaks style" on Sunday you know!

A big well done from me too, you deserve a huge pat on the back, and I don't mean a bovine type!

Well done Chris!!
I think recent training from Anne and Robert may have helped so well done to them too. More importantly I think their training, when they extend walks so they finish unexpectedly in the dark will have been the best training you could get and was the reason you thought to get a head torch!

My style for the last 5 miles was almost hands and knees, not very impressive !

I'm not at all convinced I would have finished it Anne without yours and Roberts help so thanks very much, greatly
appreciated

Thanks Ms C

I thought the reason they finished in the dark was that they had shares in the company that supplied the torches !
