If anybody who normally works Fridays fancies joining the regulars for this walk then you're more than welcome.

As the walk takes place fairly close to Bradfield I think it would be nice to pop in to one of the 2 local pubs there after the walk for the 2 for a fiver meal offer they both have, if anybody fancies it. If you do, please put your names down asap cos we'll need to book it in advance with it being Good Friday.

if we get some names down, and the walk takes place, then we will be having lunch afterwards, and of course you'll be welcome to join us. At the moment, I'm just getting messages that people are doing something else!!

Def going ahead, including Jean there are 6 names down, but also a number of others who've said they're probably coming. I'm calling the pub at 5pm tomorrow to book a table so if anybody else wants to be included, please put your name down by then. Having said all that, as it's Good Friday, they might already be booked up. We'll see.

What a smashing little walk. Obviously the weather helped, but there's some great scenery around Dungworth, and we were lucky to see a lot of it.

Now did you hear the one about the man who gave directions to someone who didn't know the way, and then got the wrong starting point himself and missed the walk.  Razz

I missed the walk too, but had a lovely HUGE meal. I also heard about the man that Steve speaks of, you really must ask him about it Darren, it is such an unbelievable story that even Steve couldn't have made this one up
