Post  Admin on Sat Aug 17, 2013 9:17 am

Chatsworth Park - Sunday 10th November
This is a walk of around 9-9.5 miles which as well as going through Chatsworth Park, also takes in Rowsley, Beeley and Edensor. On good paths throughout, the walk is described as fairly easy, with 345 metres of ascent on 2 steady climbs.

Details
Meet at Coombs Road Viaduct at 10.00 for 10.15 start. The viaduct is at the end of Coombs Road which runs parallel to Bakewell Showground. There is free on-street parking on Coombs Road near the viaduct.

We'll be there for this one, and can offer lifts for 2 people from either north of the city or city centre.

So, technically speaking, I am not the first one to put my name down for this one, which is good. I would be grateful for a lift - Roger, are you coming? If not -- Steve, I would be grateful for a lift from the center of town...

Coombs Road viaduct is at the very end of Coombs Road and is where the Monsal Trail starts. It's nowhere near a reservoir, as far as I know. I think the viaduct is what you are calling "the rail bridge".

Could somebody please compliment me on how wonderful the picture of my cat (my avatar) is? I've been waiting and waiting, and nobody seems to have noticed how charming, intelligent and well-bred she is (or rather - looks)...

Just looks like a common-or-garden moggy to me. Being a 'dog person' I wouldn't know a good looking pussy if I saw one Laughing

So - no compliment, Steve? Nothing at all?... Sad Sad  She is a moggy, but she is wonderful!! And she loves dogs, by the way. Yes. She is a dog person (i.e. cat), too. And I am a cat-and-dog person. haha

Ah, so she's a friend of yours Natalia, and not just a picture that you've found. In that case, I'd like to say that your pussy looks mighty fine to me worship

Lucia looks HARASSED -because Dulcinea (the cat) adores her and wouldn't let her sleep, or move, or eat without being constantly by her side.
