Thank you everyone for the lovely company, for the views, for the weather. For the pub, too. The mud was but a minor inconvenience, and not even that because, as I already told Roger, I came to the conclusion that, the more of it remains on our boots and trousers, the less of it will be left out there for other walkers to suffer from, and we must think of other people as well, right? giggle

You are always thinking of others Natalia, so thoughtful.

It was a lovely walk and the views were great, they would have been even better without the mist Smile

This walk needs to be done in July when hopefully there will be less mud.

I have never seen so many people riding horses as I did today, they were everywhere.

Thank you to Angie for lending me a stick, I think I took really good care of it today and hopefully she will let me borrow it again sometime Very Happy

That bloody stick! Bane of our life it was today, having a life of it's own, forever getting left all over the place. If the majority of us walked 9.3 miles today, milady must have walked 10+ due to leaving the blooming thing behind every time we stopped Mad . I blame Angie Smile

Muddiest walk of the year (so far) today but a lovely route, and dead easy to follow too which always helps.

Nice to have Mary and Clive join us for the first time today, and hopefully we'll see you again in the not too distant future.

Thanks Steve for leading a lovely walk, must agree muddiest walk this year and would be lovely to do on a clearer day to get the views over to Lady Bower.

A big thank you to all those I met on the walk from Hathersage yesterday. Every single person made an effort to chat to me. The atmosphere within the group was great. It was fantastic to catch up with my old mate, Roger. I hope to be able to join you again some time in the future.
Happy wandering!
Clive
