That was a wonderful walk today, walking along through Padley Gorge is lovely. Ive taken some photos so hopefully I will get them on here later tonight.

My legs feel as if Ive done about 15 miles, but I know we didn't do anything like that.

It was so nice to see so many people fall down today ....but not me this time Very Happy

A big welcome to David, hope you enjoyed it and that you will come again soon.

I'm so glad that my good lady was so happy to see me fall down twice, and others too. Mad Some people have strange senses of humour No . Anyway, with a broken kneecap, and waterlogged feet from falling in the river giving me trenchfoot, I battled on and completed this lovely walk which highlights a lot of what Derbyshire has to offer.

Froggatt Edge is a lovely place to be on a sunny April day, and as our old lass says, Padley Gorge is worth a visit on it's own. The nicest part for me though (apart from winning the draw at long last) was stopping for a cuppa at Grindleford cafe. It's such a lovely place to have a break at down there, and they deserve all the custom they get cos it's a great place.

Great company as always, and nice to have David on board and to hear him comment that we're "not at all cliquey" like another Sheffield Walking group! Stick with us pal, we'll all talk to you whether you want us to or not! Very Happy

A lovely walk and so different in winter with massive piles of snow still around. Just the right length too without it feeling too arduous. I did feel like singing "slip sliding away" at one point when my feet went in opposite directions! And thanks for the chocolate, David!
