Rivelin Valley - Tuesday 4th June

Post  Admin on Mon Feb 18, 2013 9:39 am

Rivelin Valley.
An easy going 5 mile walk taking us from Malin Bridge Tram stop up through Rivelin Valley to the Old Post Office before returning back through Rivelin Valley via a slightly different route. This is an interesting walk which has a great amount of varied wildlife along the way, with the added bonus of an interesting crossing of the river via some stepping stones on the way back.
Details:
Meet at Malin Bridge Tram Stop, Holme Lane, Sheffield at 6:30 for a 6:45 start. On street parking is available or park in Supertram Park and Ride car park.

Really enjoyed tonights walk but what a shame we hardly saw a soul in the valley. A nice night like tonight you'd think it'd be chokka with walkers but it wasn't.

Cheers to Neil for his help tonight, and I reckon it was at least 7 miles VO.

Hi

Thank you for making me feel most welcome on my first walk with your Group. Smile

It was a lovely walk, meandering through Rivelin Valley and the weather was perfect.

Apologies for the late posting. This is always a lovely walk and didn't disappoint this time around either. Rivelin Valley is beautiful whatever time of the year you visit.

A big welcome to Sue, it was nice chatting to you on the way round, and its good to see you enjoyed the walk. It was also great to see Andrea's dad again.

What a nice surprise it was to bump into Anne and her friend as well.
